Today at the lake I visited a new beach and met a new swim buddy, E.
I was excited to try out this beach because it’s nice and open, right at the end of an urban neighborhood (as opposed to in the middle of a park). It’s visible, there’s ambient light, and because it’s not inside a wooded park it seems safer – nothing to hide behind.
The water was amazing as usual. Refreshing, clear, and relatively calm.
E was walking back and forth in the shallow end. She is just getting started in OWS, so she is experimenting with how she wants to be in the water. It was fun to talk to her. She’s actually as into this as I am. Hope to swim with her again, but we actually live quite far apart.
